My great grandfather, Albert James Thomas, was b. in Cheddar, Somerset, in 1866. His father's name was not on birth certificate; his mother's name was Elizabeth Thomas, who eventually m. George Evans of Somerset, b. 1848. I think Albert's father may have been James Thomas. Albert immigrated to USA in 1883 and m. Louisa M. Coombe, also from England, in Dec. 1888. Am searching for info. on Albert James Thomas' father and possible siblings, unknown at this time.
