Searching for any leads to a pIKE FAMILY last known to be in Newton St.Loe.Daniel Pyke left in 1831 from Bristol aboard the barque Sterling to N.Y.Harbor,and south to Clemson S.C.His wife was Mary Phelps,and they were married in the Newton St.Loe parish church.Daniels father,according to my grandmothers bible may have been a Samuel,married to ? Attwood.Any leads would be appreciated.
