Researching Clareville Settlers Cemetery. Wairarapa.NZ. anyone with ancestors buried there please make contact. Many came from West country of England.Somerset.Dorset.Devon and Cornwall.All findings will be lodged with Carterton Districts Historical Society. I am researching my WILLS family who lived in the village of Merriott in Somerset here in England in the 1800's. I already know that one line went to New Zealand, arriving in New Plymouth in 1866. Other lines went 'missing' about that time and could have well have gone the same way in search of a new life. Any info on any WILLS members from Somerset would be welcomed please.
