Hello from the USA...
I am a descendant of Captain John Bissell who came from Somersetshire back in the 1600's and emigrated to the colonies. I am looking for anyone with the same descendant who has the Bissell name in their tree and also John Bissell in their tree. Any information would be appreciated and if you have any graveyard photos from Somerset of any Bissell headstones, I would love to see them. Now I know where my love of scrumpy comes from and also my Anglophile tendencies!
Also if anyone has info to the surname that goes back to France, I would like that as well. I understand the name was Byselle originally.
