Hi. I am interested in locating information and descendants for the Sliming (and variants) who hail from Burntisland,Fife in the late 1700's. The names James and Henderson SLIMIN are in my family from this place. Several Slimins moved to the Berwick area and lived there with their families. James Slimin married Barbara MITCHELL of Leitholm,Berwickshire. Their descendants moved in the late 1800's down to Gateshead and other parts of Newcastle and some are still there today. Any assistance with the above info. would be greatly appreciated.
