I am searching for the birth of George Whitfield Bell who, according to the 1881 census was born in Allendale in about 1860. His parents were William Bell and Frances Bell both born in Allendale. I can not find his birth recorded nor the marriage of his parents. Is there an indexed census for Allendale for 1861 or 1871? Any hints or advice please.
