I am looking for information concerning the NEGUS family of Northamptonshire,especially in areas such as Oundle and Polebrook. The earliest ancestor I have been able to trace is Francis NEGUS(1791-1856)who married Sarah LENTON(1795-1837)June 12 1815 in Oundle;his son John NEGUS(1819-1899)and his wife Harriet SMITH(1831-1885)emigrated to New Brunswick,Canada with two of their sons,Francis(1849-1878)and John(1851-November 1 1898)around 1854. I would like to know where Francis was born and who his ancestors were,if possible.
