Have you tried searching the FreeBMD site?

There are quite a few entries for Clayton in Barrow-in-Furness.
Follow the 'Search' link, select 'All Types'
for District: Barrow, County: Lancashire, and just enter the surname: Clayton, nothing else, no dates.
