Looking for the family of George GREGORY born ca 1812 at Matlock, Derbyshire. He married Eliza MEADOWCROFT born ca 1818 at Manchester, Lancashire. They married at Manchester and had children: Mary ca 1838; Samuel Meadowcroft ca 1841; William born Aug 1849 (all three of these children were born in Manchester) and than the family moved to Bury and had George born Mar 22, 1859 and Harriet Ellen born May 30, 1862. Eliza Meadowcroft Gregory died ca 1863 and after her death the family emmigrated to Paterson, New Jersey. I believe that the oldest daughter Mary died about the time of her mother also. Samuel Meadowcroft Gregory remained in England and I've found his family on several of the census'. Any information on this family would be appreciated. Thanks!
