Can anyone help me?I am looking for the families of William Thornley.
William married Harriet Patterson date or town not known but in Lancashire.One known child was born there and that was Sarah Ann/Mary Ann Thornley circ 1867/68 in Manchester but Sarah's birth cannot as yet been found.Now in 1871 This family was in County Clare,Ireland as Harriett Thornley was born there.
It is a great possibility that this family went to Brooklyn,New York after Harriett was born.There was an accident which killed both parents as legend goes,Harriett the daughter stayed with relatives and Sarah Ann was sent to Australia.
Has any one got this family missing in their family.
I am doing this research for a dear friend of the family who is 82 years,and Sarah Ann is his Grandmother.So any help would be greatly appreciated from any one at all.
