Abraham's parents were Robert Barker (born 1813, Backbarrow, died Feb. 20 1877, Low Kepplewray, Broughton) and Mary Lewis (born June 18, 1809, Newby Bridge, Lancashire, died 1879, Kepplewray - married Feb.16 1833, Colton, Lancashire.
Robert's parents are James Barker (born abt. 1763, Backbarrow, died 1835, Backbarrow) and Elizabeth Askew (born abt. 1773, Old Hall, Bouth, Lancashire, died November 25 1843, Backbarrow) - married Jan. 8 1794, Cartmel Priory, Cartmel, Lancashire.
