Since my last post, I found that my family came to US in 1905. They came from WestLeigh instead of Leigh. They returned to UK in approx 1910 as they returned to US in 1911. At that time they resided in Fontanet Indiana. Once again this is Arthur Lowe-married Alice Knowles-2 sons John( Jack)and Alfred (m father) Once had a pub, in either Leigh or WestLeigh.
