I am trying to locate the 2nd son of Gen. Johnny Burgoyne, Edward William Burgoyne, b.1786, to Gen John and Susan Caulfield. I have his birth certificate and when John Burgoyne died in 1792, his 4 children went to live with the Earl of Derby in Lancashire. After that, there has never been a mention of him again as with his other 3 children. Can anyone help or give direction as to where to look?
