Huntingdonshire. On Monday, the 23d of April [1821], the rev. T. Wilsrecton, rector of Colne, refused to read the burial service over the deceased body of John Astwood, because he had not been baptized according to the ceremonies of the church of England, his parents being Dissenters. We doubt not but that his diocesan, on the representation of the Protestant Society for the Protection of Religious Liberty, will soon teach this reverend bigot, that his knowledge of the ecclesiastical law of the land is on a par with his Christian charity.
