I am interested in finding information on William Hibbs. I have been told that he and his son were beheaded by King James. William died on May 6, 1686 and his son not long afterwards. I have read the book by Joseph Besse about the Quakers, but it doesn't state in it about him being beheaded, just imprisoned alot for his beliefs. I would like to have a copy of the record about him being executed. Could you please tell me how I can find out this information?
