Corby, Hardiman

My father was John Corby. His parents were George Corby & Alice Hardiman who married in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire around 1920. I am searching for George's origins. He was not from Moreton. He was in the British army, supposedly in "Her Majesty's Loyal (or "Royal&quot Regiment, based, I think, in London. I was born in Sydney, where my parents married after the war. I now live in New Zealand, & trying to find George's roots is difficult - all help much appreciated!
