I have no idea who to write to to get the information I need. I
hope you can help me or direct me to someone that can access it for me.
I was hoping you might be able to give me some information on my
Great-Grandfather, William Fields. All I know is that he was born in
Yorkshire in 1837. He was a miner. He married Mary Jane Wiggans or
(Wiggams) (date unknown) who was born in Durham in 1849.
They had 3 children all born in England, Doretha Fields 7 years old,
Elizabeth Fields 4 years old, Robert Fields 1 year old. They are first
found in the U.S. Census in 1880 in Parke County, Indiana, U.S.A.
All this information was taken from the 1880 U.S Census, Parke
County, Indiana.
