I am seeking details of birth for Edward Newton and William Newton-sons of John George Newton and Ellen Dennett. They were younger brothers of Jubilee Robert Newton born in 1897.
John George Newton was a coal miner and lived in the Thornley area in 1901.
Help would be very welcome as I have found a real brick wall here

Thank you for your reply. I should have explained more fully.
I do have John George Newton from the 1901 census. This shows his birthplace as Haswell. I did finally trace him in the 1881 although the LDS transcribers had changed Haswell to Swalwell and his name was given only as John.
In 1901 he was living with his wife Ellen(Dennett) who was born in Castle Eden. His first son was Jubilee Robert and his second son, born in
1900 was Edward. Later, about 1903 he had a son William.
I have Jubilee's birth certificate but although I have hunted through the PRO indexes I have been unable to find birth records for Edward and William. In fact I have no records of William until 1927 when he married Ellen Pugh in Thornley.
William died some years ago but I do not have the date or place.
I'm not quite sure where to look for William but there might be records of the ancestry of John George in earlier census records. John George was son of William Newton (in the 1881 at Buck Bank,Whickham,Durham) and Cathrine Newton. Both his parents were born in Haswell.
