GILHOLM - ROBERTSI would be interested if anyone is researching any of
the following families.
TURNER - Reeth NRY, Coxhoe, Cornsay, Ryhope, Hamsterley Colliery, 1850 - to
date.
SCARR - NRY - DUR - NBL - any date.
GILHOLM - Belford - Whittingham - Eglingham - Lilburn - Newcastle -
Gateshead.
ROBERTS - Elizabeth and sons William, Henry, and Robert who are recorded
living at different addresses in Morpeth in the 1901 census. There were two
other sons John and Samuel who I have 'lost' post 1881. The family were
previously named as TURNER in the 1881 census at Wingate. After Elizabeth
re-married a Benjamin ROBERTS I found them at Allendale Cottages,
Medomsley in 1891. The three youngest TURNER/ROBERTS sons, Samuel, Henry
and Robert were born in Sao Paulo, Brazil between 1869 - 1875. They returned
to Britain after the death of Elizabeth's first husband John TURNER.
