Am looking for the family of my great grandmother who was Margaret Watt, born 1876 with twin sister Sarah and christened in Hartlepool. The 1881 census lists them as living in Bishopswearmouth. When their parents died, they were sent to Canada through Quarrier homes as conscripted servants where they married and had families.They had two older sisters and a brother who was supposed to have headed for Australia.
Margaret's father was Robert Watt and the census states he was born in Pensher. The mother of the girls was Mary Unthank and Mary's parents were Mary (?) and William Unthank. When Margaret came to Canada she married John Marshall who was also from Hartlepool, parents Joseh and Elizabeth (Forden). Desperately need help to trace family as info has been lost.
