I am interested in lineage of Sir John and Dame Mary Banks of Corfe Castle. I have my line back to William Joab Banks, born mid 1700's in South Carolina. Can't find where anyone came from, they were all born here! Does anyone know where I can find the descendants of Sir John? Didn't some of them come to the US in the late 1600's?
