Looking for any info on my g.g.g.grandmother, Rosina Laddy Rookes Slocombe.
In the 1881 Middx census it states she was born in 1841 in a place called Exeter Newton. Someone has told me that there are a lot of towns around Exeter called Newton, so it could be something like that.
She has such an unusual name, I would love to find out some more about her.
