James George Waller, believed born in Brixton in about 1793 has proved elusive. He was married to a Mina Ontdaatje in Rembang, Java, in 1823, where he is understood to have been a master shipbuilder. Subsequently, his son, James George Waller, migrated to Australia where he married Caroline Jane Hodges of Briston in 1858.I assume he was from Brixton Devon because of his shipbilding background.
