Could anyone please help us find the parents of Frederick Babbage b 1835 in Devonport Plymouth. We know his fathers name is Joseph but where Joseph comes from we are unable to find out or if he had any more children. Joseph is put down on Fredericks wedding certificate as being deceased. Frederick married Mary Jane Rudd on the 10 Nov 1861 and had four children that we know of Sidney John, Orissa, Amretta and Olive. We would be very grateful for any help. We have tried the record centre in Plymouth with no success.
