I'm not sure of the county, but I'm basing this query on a Brass that contains the Lyndley family Tree dated 1593. I know that John Isaac Lindley was born in Chesire Co. in 1612. I think that his father was Henry Lyndley married to Euphemia Pickard (April 1612). Henry's father was Edmounde Lyndley born 1550. Since the Lyndley Brass is in Otley, I am assuming that Henry or Edmounde may be from this county. If any one has any information please email to
