James Ormandy born 1863 Barrow Married Mary Emily Watts 1885. James is thought to have gone as a volunteer to the South African (Boer) War around 1900. I wish to know the name of the regiment he would have served with, and if there is a local record of volunteers, his regimental number.
He died in Barrow in 1905.
