My greatgrandmother was a Hannah Wilson born 1821 probably christened 1822 who has her birthplace listed as Kingwater on the 1881 census as I see from the map that it is a river I presume it might have been the district. Her parents were Jane Richardson and Joseph Wilson. I think that she married John Douglas in Penrith in 1843 they lived at Bolton in Cumberland most of the time as he was a carpenter and shifted around the district they was living at Sandon House in Abbytown when he died in 1895 but she appears to have been staying at Moor Row when she died a couple of years later. I am not quite sure where to find Hannahs siblings and parents place of residence. Plenty of Wilsons but I can't seem to find Hannah's birth listed to pinpoint where the family where actually living at that time.
