I am looking for information on my gt uncle, James McOwan. He was born in Perth, Scotland in 1864 the eldest son of John McOwan and Ann McRae. He became a Presbyterian minister sometime in the 1890's and married Mary Jane Oastler in Glasgow in 1898. At the time of his marriage he was already a minister for the Presbyterian church in Maryport and was still there in 1906 when he was the informant on his father's death certificate.
Does anyone have any information as I would like to know what happened to him.
