Im trying to search for information on my grandfather Frank Droy - born around 1916 he died in November 1943 in the 2nd ww and is buried in Naples. Living in Leicester he married my grandmother Constance Marshall and had 2 children, Janet Margeret born 1935 and Sandra. His father was Harold Droy married to Emily. I seem unable to trace any information other than his grave on the war memorials site. I would like to know of any other Droys living or who lived in Leicester. My mother lost touch with her aunts/uncles when her father died (as she was still very young) but believes that one uncle bought a pub in Cornwall and she recalls having a cousin called John. Does anyone have any information that will help me in my search. I have tried the public records office in Leicester but apparently they arent that public!!!! If anyone has any information that may help in my search for my ancestors please email me without any attachments.
