I am looking for any information on my Grandparents Edward Joseph Thomas and
Harriet Elizabeth Leedham, Harriet was born in
Ashbey-dela-Zouch 5- July - 1897, parents names were William Leedham and Ellen Cheshire. According to the marriage license Edward was a
"layer in H.M. Army" at the time of the marriage.
What I would like to know is a site to go to, to find out about gettting copies of his army records.
And also to find out where and when they left
England for America. I think they left there
sometime between 1918 and 1919 on the Maurtania
Have not been able to confirm any of this..........
