Obediah Osborn (1767-1845) and his brother, James Osborn came from Wales to New York, U.S.A. around 1785 because of a mean stepmother. The brothers got into an argument and Obediah went to Pennsylvania and James went to Georgia, U.S.A. According to an old letter, the family had papers called the Royal Register that showed they had land in England. I don't know if any relative claimed it, and their papers burned in a house fire. I would appreciate any information on them. Obediah married here in Pennsylvania, but I don't know about James.
