Bath England March April 1849.
I am searching for family information on my great grandfather James Wood who was transported to Australia after stealing a feather boa in March 1849. His parents were James and Grace (nee Lewis)who lived in Dolemead Bath at the time of their son's bith around 1829. Records show that Grace Wood was living in Bath (Lyncombe Hill) at the time of her son's conviction in 1849. Naturally any information on possible relations etc would be much appreciated.
