Garnes

I am looking please for Joseph Garnes, b. abt 1745 in Wales. He emigrated to the US, to Giles County, Virginia - he has a son born to him & a Sarah Tapley Garnes in 1772, named Joseph.

My sister has traced our family back to Joseph Garnes and Lady Sarah Tapley. He had two sons that she was able to find. Our tree is located on ancestry.com and follows the generations of Garnes to the Grace G Garnes that is my grandmother. There are also many message boards about the Garnes from Wales.
