I have Churchill Blakey in my family tree. His grandfather, Churchill BlakeyI was born in Wales but not sure when. His father, Thomas Blakey I was born in Wales in 1666 and married my 8th great grandmother, Catherine Susannah Churchill in 1686. He died in 1743 in Virginia. She was born Oct. 5, 1667 in Virginia and died in 1715 in Virginia. Her father was William Churchill, born 02 Dec 1649 in North Aston, Oxfordshire, England, married Mary ?? in 1666 in North Aston, Oxfordshire, England and died 10 Mar 1711 in Middlesex, Virginia, USA. I have his father as John Churchill, his grandfather Henry Churchill and his great grandfather Richard Giles Churchill.
Will share what I have. They owned Wilton House in Middlesex County, Virginia and there is an article about the house with references to the family in the Jan-Feb edition of The House and Home Magazine.
