My interest: Robert White born abt 1780-1800 m. Jane ____(perhaps Brown)
Their son, John White born May 1825 at "Needlehall" Galashiels,Selkirk. I believe Needlehall was an area just across the Tweed from Sunderland Hall.
Robert and Jane do not appear to be in the 1841 census. John is a few miles away in 1841 working as a farm laborer in Newtown.
He married Jane Hamilton and raised his family in Galashiels, where he was a mill worker.
I cannot find John's birth record in the IGI. Find 8 possibilities for Robert White 1780-1800. Would love to identify John's other siblings.
